Introduction
Please read these Terms and Conditions ("Terms") carefully before using the WD: COD Form & Upsells Shopify app ("the App"). By installing and using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
Overview
WD: COD Form & Upsells is a cash-on-delivery ordering app. It places an order form on your storefront, collects the details a COD order needs, applies the fraud rules you configure, and creates the resulting order in your Shopify store through Shopify's APIs.
Eligibility
To use this App, you must:
- Be a registered Shopify merchant
- Agree to and comply with these Terms
- Be permitted to sell on cash-on-delivery terms in the markets you ship to
App Functionality & Limitations
The App creates real Shopify orders on your behalf when a shopper submits the order form. Those orders are ordinary Shopify orders, tagged so you can identify them, and they remain in your store whether or not the App is installed.
Important: The App reduces fraudulent and duplicate cash-on-delivery orders. It does not eliminate them. Fraud rules act on the signals available at the moment the form is submitted — email address, phone number, IP address, postcode, repeat activity and quantity — and a determined buyer can defeat any of them. WD: COD Form & Upsells is not responsible for:
- Orders that are refused, returned or abandoned on delivery
- Genuine shoppers blocked by rules you have configured
- Shipping, courier or return costs arising from any order the App creates
You are responsible for the rules you switch on. IP-address matching in particular can block a genuine first-time buyer, because shoppers on mobile data or shared wifi often share one IP address.
Pricing and Billing
The App is currently free to use, with every feature included and no cap on the number of orders it will create. We may introduce paid plans in future. If we do, they will be billed through Shopify, and we will give you notice before any charge applies to your store.
Data Usage
To create an order the App necessarily handles the details the shopper types into the form, including name, phone number, address and city. It also stores the configuration and fraud rules for your store. We do not use, sell, or share merchant or customer data with any third party. For details, see our Privacy Policy.
Security
Your store's settings and credentials are stored securely using encryption. You are responsible for controlling who has access to your Shopify admin and to the App's settings.
Uninstallation and Data Removal
Upon uninstalling the App, the order form stops appearing on your storefront and all associated data is permanently deleted from our system. Orders already created remain in your Shopify store, because they are ordinary Shopify orders.
Support and Communication
We offer support through the in-app support widget and by email. While we strive to respond quickly, we cannot guarantee immediate resolution of every issue.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, WD: COD Form & Upsells and its developers are not liable for:
- Losses arising from fraudulent, duplicate or refused cash-on-delivery orders
- Lost sales from genuine shoppers blocked by your configured rules
- Damages arising from misconfiguration or misuse of the App
But we are open to solve your any problem which is not beyond us.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after updates constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
