WD: COD Form & Upsells

WD: COD Form & Upsells is a Shopify app that replaces the multi-step checkout with a single cash-on-delivery order form on your product page. The shopper enters their name, phone, address and city, presses Place Order, and a normal Shopify order lands in your admin.

Only for cash-on-delivery buyers. The form creates the order directly, so a COD shopper never passes through a payment step they do not need. Your regular Shopify checkout stays exactly as it is for prepaid orders.

Name, phone number, address and city are required, and postal code is optional. The form also shows the line items, discount, shipping and total, lets the shopper choose a shipping option, and can include a marketing opt-in checkbox.

You can allow only one order from the same customer inside a time window you choose — one hour, for example. The app recognises a returning customer by email address, phone number or IP address, and shows a blocked shopper a message you write, including how long is left before they can order again.

Be careful with it. Shoppers on mobile data or a shared office wifi often share one IP address, so turning it on can block a genuine first-time buyer because a stranger on the same network ordered first. Email and phone matching are safer defaults.

Yes. You can offer upsells, downsells and quantity offers on the form, so a shopper can increase their order in one tap before they place it.

Every order the app creates is a normal Shopify order tagged WD_COD, so you can filter for it in your Shopify admin. The app also keeps its own searchable list with payment status, fulfilment status and totals.

COD orders, revenue, items sold and shipping charged, plus a breakdown of every order blocked by your fraud rules — by IP, email, phone, postcode, repeat and quantity — and an orders-per-month chart.

No. The form is a theme app embed that loads only where you place it, and it does not inject heavy scripts into the rest of your storefront.

Nothing right now. The app is free while it is in early access, with every feature included and no cap on the number of COD orders. If we introduce paid plans later, we will tell you before anything changes.

The form stops appearing on your storefront and all data associated with your store is permanently deleted. Orders the app already created stay in Shopify, because they are ordinary Shopify orders.
