Introduction
Please read these Terms and Conditions ("Terms") carefully before using the WD: Customer Insights & Growth Shopify app ("the App"). By installing and using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
Overview
WD: Customer Insights & Growth is a customer insight app. It records storefront logins through a theme app embed, presents your customers in a searchable list with their login history, exports that list as a CSV file, and creates discount codes in your Shopify store through Shopify's APIs.
Eligibility
To use this App, you must:
- Be a registered Shopify merchant
- Agree to and comply with these Terms
- Be permitted to record customer login activity in the markets you sell to, and disclose it to your customers where the law requires
App Functionality & Limitations
The App records a login only when its theme app embed is enabled and the shopper's privacy choices allow analytics. Login history starts when the embed is switched on; earlier logins cannot be recovered.
Important: Login history shows when a customer signed in to your storefront. It does not track browsing or orders, and it will not capture every login — shoppers who decline analytics, and browsers that block the embed, are not recorded. WD: Customer Insights & Growth is not responsible for:
- Logins not recorded because the embed was disabled, consent was declined, or a browser blocked it
- How you use customer data you export from the App
- Lost revenue or misuse arising from discount codes you configure
Discount codes created through the App are ordinary Shopify discounts. They remain in your store whether or not the App is installed.
Pricing and Billing
The App is offered on paid plans, billed through Shopify monthly or annually. Plans are sized by the number of customers tracked over the lifetime of your install: each customer counts once, at their first recorded login. When you reach your plan's limit, new customers are put on hold — their logins are still recorded — and released when you move to a larger plan. If you cancel, you keep access until the end of the current billing period.
Data Usage
To show you your customers, the App necessarily handles their names, email addresses, phone numbers and login activity. We do not use, sell, or share merchant or customer data with any third party. For details, see our Privacy Policy.
Security
We protect the data the App holds with industry-standard security measures. Exported CSV files contain customer contact details; once downloaded, keeping them secure is your responsibility. You are also responsible for controlling who has access to your Shopify admin and to the App's settings.
Uninstallation and Data Removal
Upon uninstalling the App, login tracking stops immediately. When Shopify sends the store redaction request, 48 hours after uninstallation, all customer, login and discount records held for your store are permanently deleted from our system. Discount codes already created remain in your Shopify store.
Support and Communication
We offer support through the in-app support widget and by email. While we strive to respond quickly, we cannot guarantee immediate resolution of every issue.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, WD: Customer Insights & Growth and its developers are not liable for:
- Gaps in login history, for any of the reasons above
- Losses arising from the use or exposure of exported customer data
- Damages arising from misconfiguration or misuse of the App
But we are open to solve your any problem which is not beyond us.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after updates constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
